postmodernism
Everyday we encounter different cultures and traditions. Each person has a reality of their own. When I began to read this article, I was confused as to what the article was trying to discuss. The author just went on to describe how the Postmodern Age is like a melting pot. I like how the author compared postmodern artists to explorers. We only know of the things that they inform us with, which is why there is always something new to discover and to learn about.
If Jean Baudrillard says Disney is not imaginary, why does he say that the rest of Los Angeles is not real as well? Is he trying to say that media is bad for us? Does he think that mass media alters our reality?
