color assignment

This is a picture of a white cell phone charger on top of a white desk. This picture was taken with my desk lamp off. The desk appears to be a light red pink color and the cell phone charger appears to be a light yellow color. The charger blends into the color of the background in this lighting.

This picture was taken with my desk lamp on. The cell phone charger stands out even more from the desk top. The desk appears to be a light green color. The cell phone charger appears to be a cream yellow color. The better lighting evidently changed my perception of the colors of the objects. The lighting also made it easier to distinguish between the two objects.
